Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream

At one time I only need 'a' moisturiser, just the one, well two, if I use a daily one with SPF, then a separate evening hydrating product is required (with no SPF).
My tendency is to be be swayed easily by skin care and the purchase thereafter, this means I have a collection, stash, hoard of products and this Antipodes Vanilla Pod Hydrating Day Cream was part of that collection, for quite some time.

Eventually it was let out into the world, or rather my bathroom shelf and here's how I got on.

The moisturiser itself was a surprise, I expected a lightweight consistency but this resembled the texture of cold cream and needed help with a determined digit to get it out of the jar.
The texture smoothed onto my face and absorbed immediately, no sitting around politely waiting to be invited in, it was on and away.
After several days use I did notice it wasn't being absorbed as quickly.
It has a gentle hint of vanilla but not sickly sweet, there is a spicy note to this daily hydrator.

The product has 100% pure avocado pear oil, macadamia nut and manuka honey along with vitamins A, B, C & E. Omega 3,6 and 9 are packed in along with further anti-oxidant Chlorophyll.
African Karite Butter gives the moisturiser it's smooth gliding texture and Squalane (Spanish Olives) create a unique moisturising agent that has an affinity with the skins own natural oils.

This works well for me, it hasn't wowed me but it keeps my skin hydrated and I've had no adverse reactions to the product. I like it and it contains some wonderful ingredients, I would probably repurchase and it is good value in the world of skincare.  There have been other creams that have wowed me, although I much prefer to invest in serums and oils and not as much when it comes to moisturiser.
