LA ROCHE POSAY BB CREAM

For a girl that likes coverage, not only on my face but snuggled in bed, I have a huge love of the simple coverage of BB creams.

So this was a delight to find within the My Little Box monthly offering.

I was a little unsure about the shade, light was indeed exactly what it said on the tube. However I needed and wanted this to really work, I love La Roche Posay.

La Roche Posay BB Cream with promises of spf 20 for protection, perfect for all skin types and a luminous finish, I was BB cream ready.

Initially the texture was quite thick, it certainly had the coverage. Application was smooth using a Sigma kabuki brush, however the coverage was such a disappointment, it ran head long into my pores, it was caking and drying on the face.

I adored the pink tone but there was little else I could find to like. 

My only answer to this conundrum of an awkward product has been to use the smallest amount as a concealer, it does work and though nowhere near the quality of Kevyn Aucoin Skin Enhancer it does however have a similar texture and finish. 

Sadly this wasn't for my over 40's skin, you can't win them all. B- for this product.
