NAOBAY CALMING FACE TONER

This colossus bottle of Naobay calming face toner arrived in a monthly GlossyBox, with the natural packaging and pleasant smelling contents I was rather pleased to add this to my skin care routine for a reminder of the days before Glycolic was a must have for me.

For me exfoliating lotions have been a huge help in keeping my skin tip top during my forties and the thought of returning to a traditional toner was worrying in the sense that it wouldn't be throwing those excess dead skin cells away. In the days when cream cleansers were all the rage, the toner would take the residue away. Now we have moved on but there is always something comforting about the old fashioned way.

This organic beauty can rave about what it doesn't have in it and if that's your thing then this is a product worth investigating.

There are ingredients that you will never find in any NAOBAY product because we also avoid any ingredient that research show may have a suspected human health risk such as:

PetrochemicalsArtificial preservatives
Artificial colorants/synthetic dyes
Parabens
Silicones
Mineral oils
Genetic modified ingredients
Sodium Laureth Sulphates (SLES)
Formaldehyde
Dioxins
Ethoxylated material
Paraffin / petrolatum
Isothiazolinones
PEG
BHT

We comply with the European regulation 1223/2009 and evaluate the safety of all the ingredients in our formulas.

This toner can be used to remove makeup, although I would be reluctant to rely on this alone. I much prefer balm cleansers to do the job in the evening. Even as a second cleanse this wouldn't be enough for me, I like to feel I have properly had a good cleanse and facial. Balms and oils are my mantra when it comes to my skincare routine, I am a creature of cleansing habits.

This toner will remove basic impurities from the skin but with not one ounce of glycolic there is no exfoliation process. It will cleanse, tone and soothe the skin thanks to Chamomile and Gotakula extracts.

While using this I have been upping my use of Alpha H liquid gold to three times a week to ensure no dead skin cell build up. But I have really liked this sweet smelling 99.13% organic lotion.

A great option if you are just building a skincare routine or prefer the natural approach and do not require the glycolic aspect of a toner.

The best thing is the 200ml size for £15, superb value and it lasts for ages.
