Maybelline Total Temptation

This year has been good so far for my love of a decent wand and a glossy mascara consistency. When a surprise parcel landed from Maybelline, I was thrilled to see the Total Temptation New Launch mascara and brow definer. The mascara was everything I love, it certainly gave me a spring in my step.

Maybelline offers a pastel packaged mascara, there's a whole range that brings that feeling of Spring to your makeup bag. I rather like the peach toned packaging. This coconut enriched mascara is there to tempt the best of us with the promise of more volume, more length and a more conditioned feel and I can confirm that it is everything it suggests and more, I love it.

The formulation is creamy, it has a silky feel as it sweeps through the lashes, leaving great length and curl, they really are voluminous after two coats. With this particular mascara you can keep adding the product without waiting for the first coat to dry, just keep going until you reach your lash perfection. One coat gives the definition and a subtle lift, curl and volume to the lashes, a second coat is glorious, lashes are there for the admiring, so, the more you add the better it gets and they never feel dried out or stiff. With the added coconut, lashes are soft, flexible and fanned out.

For removal, this was very easy to work away from the lashes, I found my cleansing balm, easily lifted the product from the lashes, leaving no residue embedded in the lashes. A separate eye makeup remover I didn't need but, if it's part of your routine then it will easily dissolve the mascara away.

This is may have been a PR item, but, it will be one that I will buy, the wand, product consistency and results make it a must-have for my lashes. You can be tempted by the Total Temptation range at Superdrug and Boots, you won't regret it.
