I have coveted this brush since seeing it used by VIVIANNA DOES MAKEUP, by pure chance I came across it while having a nosey around a few beauty websites testing out my will power, which failed when I saw this glistening on the Selfridges website.

I do hoard brushes and I am firm believer that if you look after them, there is no reason you can't get years and years out of them, as long as you don't get bored of them first (guilty as charged on that).

Let me introduce you to the newest beauty tool adorning my makeup heap!

  • This is a traditional Kabuki brush
  • It has a tapered spiral dome
  • Perfect for powder application
  • Ideal for definition, contouring with powder and highlighting
  • Hand spun handle of black wisteria
  • Goat Hair
  • Perfect balanced tool

I have found this to be the perfect tool for applying loose or compact powder, it works gently around the eyes and always enough powder to be patted and pressed onto the face without overloading the face.

I have yet to wash it and this is going to need lot's of TLC, as nice as hand made brushes are, they are often delicate and it is quite easy to destroy the shape and the hairs.
I washed it, finally thought I had better. It was fine and my worry that I would ruin this gorgeous brush was unnecessary, it reshaped perfectly and looked like new.

For the moment I am enjoying using this tool rather a lot.
