Coming To The Rescue - FIRST AID BEAUTY Eye Duty Triple Remedy

First Aid Beauty

One of my non-starters in the skincare realm are eye potions of all colours, textures and prices.
I have never found even one that felt nice (all the time), some would initially, but then my skin would feel dry and products would gather.
Some cooled the area and did little else, others just sat there in great abundance, so I gave up and left the eye products out of my skin care routine.
I noticed no difference and started to apply the left-overs of my skincare under and around, it certainly didn't make matters worse and I didn't have any drying of the area.
But then........................
Along came an on-line visit to and having read and heard nice things about First Aid Beauty and the eye treatment - well, I thought it was time to head back into the eye of the storm, so to speak.

The first thing that I quite like about this product is the cold, soothing metal applicator, which assists in blending the product and has a nice soothing feel on the orbital bone, although I still have to go in with my ring finger and pat the product - old habits and a good one at that.
The colour of the cream is peach which when applied immediately whitens the and brightens the dark circles, it is an immediate result, right before your eyes.
It doesn't feel particularly creamy or hydrating but equally it doesn't feel dry or caked on application either. Unlike many eye products that are better applied only around the orbital bone, ensuring the eye area isn't over loaded with product, with this I dot the product right underneath the eye and blend with the fingers. I can then use the metal thingy to blend outwards and give the eye area a nice soothing massage.

Am I converted?, it's far too early to say, initial thoughts are positive and so far I don't feel like a dried out old prune.

Welcome to several weeks later and I am still in possession of the eye cream, I know!
Have I noticed any difference, NO, it certainly lightens the eye area (the peach pigment does that immediately) and I like it, but is that enough to persuade me to get another?

My dilemma is the positive brightening look which works well but the drying effect and look if taken beyond the dark circles.  If I take the cream further than the dark circles it looks obvious on the face and also looks more obvious with the application of makeup, products gather on top of it and the caked look isn't a good one.

For now I will persevere and use the product, at least it 'does' disguise the dark circles, keep an eye out for more orbital rants at a later date! I am undecided on a repurchase of this.
