ORIGINS Original Skin Retexturising Mask

One of my favourite brands and it's lovely to see when there are so many filling the market that this is still producing a much needed and wanted product.

So popular has this product been that it was sold out on most online sites, ironically not on its own www.origins.co.uk site, which is where I finally got my hands on this much praised retexturising rose clay masque.

This 2 in 1 skincare beauty offers not only great cleansing properties but also skin refining Jojoba beads (not the scratchy abrasive variety), leaving skin smooth and fresh. A great skincare extra to use once or twice a week to give skin that little bit more.

Pout thoughts

  • It's pink, just thought I'd state the obvious, pink with a hint of rose.
  • A reasonable layer dries very quickly and tightens as it dries on the face.
  • I apply using a flat headed foundation brush, fingers work equally well.
  • Leave to dry for 10 mins or until someone screams and you realise you forgot to remove the mask.
  • I remove the masque using a flannel or cleansing cloth, soaked firstly in warm water and then pressed onto the face, it takes several applications but I love the way it draws the masque from the face and leaves the face super clean.
  • Masque can be removed by adding water and liquefying the product, washing it away and patting dry with a towel.
  • Once removed my skin is noticeably brighter, gleaming bright, skin is super smooth and because of this my pores (there are plenty to go around) appear less obvious.
  • My skin glows from this masque, used either am or pm it leaves skin ready for whatever products are being applied.
  • A glorious masque which certainly works and has me heading away from the grey clay masque to the pink clay masque.
Origins have another winner on their hands, a gentle but effective masque, which works quickly leaving skin beautifully smooth, bright and so cleansed.
