Lola - and behold

Lola Makeup By Perse - colour for all, fun for all.

I was kindly sent three rather exciting products, one I had used before, so knew it was a great item. A blusher I would never have picked as a colour for me and found it was perfect and finally, yes, a red/pink lipstick that made my heart flutter, it is stunning. Please see link at the bottom of this post where you can see the products being applied and my first impressions.
The lovely Lola people are also offering 10% off products at www.lolamakeup.com, using the code rougelola10, don't forget to let me know what you buy x

Raspberry Red Intense Lipstick is a heart-stopping red in my eyes, it shines bright like a diamond, demanding to be worn. The bullet has a rich, creamy texture, the pigment is true and the colour coats the lips and leaves this amazing red in all its glory. Intense Colour it certainly is, with plant extracts to ensure a smooth texture and feel on the lips, this works well alone when applied from the bullet, perfect over a lipliner and you can also alter the finish by adding liner over the top. For me, I wear it straight, it is too fabulous to alter, Raspberry Red is a colour to behold.

I wasn't certain about this mono blusher, the tone of 009 altered in different lights and I felt there was a fair amount of blue within the colour and this doesn't always work with my skin tone. How wrong I was, this was so beautiful, a soft matte powder with a 'pack a punch pigment'. Gloriously skin lifting, it gave me youth in a healthy looking way, it screams summer and then in Winter it will lift my spirits and my yellowing skin, perfect for anyone who dislikes shimmer and satin finishes, this is perfectly matte and it's all about the colour.

Kajal, I love that word, for me, it means serious eyeliner, proper grown-up grunge, smokey eye, perfection and Lola has an eyeliner, Kajal duo, that gives you two options for the perfect or the imperfect eyeliner.
I naturally prefer the felt tip liner, it is the familiar, the understood, the safe option and it is perfect for achieving the precise point at the outer corner of the eye, the liner does the work for you.
The Kajal choice gives you permission to be a rock star, to blend and work this liner to create a subtle line to the full on Kate Moss smudged look. I use the Kajal as a creamy eyeshadow option, it blends so easily over the mobile lid and around the eye, perfect as a base for powder shadow to give intensity and long lasting finish.
