Having your own stylist to hand is always rather useful, this may not be quite in the league of being dressed by someone, but, it certainly dresses the lashes with impact.
This new mascara from Essence has lengthening fibres which pull through the lashes leaving them coated, luscious and jaw-droppingly long.
The Volume stylist wand has a full middle and tapers at either end, this way, it puts the bulk of product on the centre lashes and elongates the inner and outer corners with the thinner ends. If your thing is 18hr makeup, this is for you, it will hold those lashes aloft, maybe by 19 hours the mascara turns into a pumpkin, but, you have time to impress without shoving your foot into a glass slipper.
From the picture, you can see it holds the lashes, I didn't need an eyelash curler. The formula is rich without it feeling gloopy, perfect for a daytime look and can be built to a glamorous evening smokey eye.
It stays in place and even the hottest day with hayfever eyes, it didn't move, I have found it does remove well using my trusty Emma Hardie cleanser and very quickly it is lifted from the lashes with the Garnier bi-phase remover.
