Jane Scrivner Nourishing Cleanser

Having written previously of my frustration at my skincare plateau, the brand that gave me hope again was Jane Scrivner skincare and it's time to feature a few of the skincare items that made me and my skin super happy.

No prizes for guessing that the first is the Jane Scrivner Nourishing Cleanser, a balm cleanser that smells so zesty that you can't help but want to dive in and get this glorious concoction on the face, it truly is luxurious. As you work this over the skin, it melts with the warmth of your hands, perfect to clean the skin in the morning and a wonderous product for removing makeup, including eye and waterproof makeup, it collects it up and really cleanses the skin without stripping and leaving that dried tight feeling to the face.

As a muslin cloth obsessive, I have been turned to the ways of JS, the cleansing mitt, which is included with the cleanser, allows greater control of makeup removal and you really get that neck and chest area cleansed also, the mitt is large and washes well, no shrinkage which is always a blessing.
This is not a balm that emulsifies but, it also doesn't have that duck fat consistency, this does come away easily from the skin, leaving the softest smoothest and cleanest skin, all this without removing the skins natural oils and no dehydrated patches to deal with either.
Using 87% Certified organic ingredients, I defy anyone not to remove the lid and feel uplifted just from the heavenly scent of this cleanser using organic jojoba seed oil, eucalyptus, lavender, orange peel, lemongrass, sandalwood - the list goes on, this is a heaven sent, scent.

The combination of the essential oils, beeswax and jojoba prevent skin dryness, increase elasticity and above all help balance the skin, which makes it perfect for all skin types, my oily/combination skin loves it, clean, bright and I no longer have dehydrated areas on my face. This never fails me or my skin, it is the comfort blanket of cleansers, and, has aided a rather nasty reaction to a skincare item that broke my skin out, a thin layer on my face overnight really helped recover my skin back to it's 'behaving' self.
I have used balm cleansers for decades, this is one of the best I have ever used and has become my number one, relaible, comforting, leaves my skin looking and feeling fabulous and you only need a small amount to work the magic, it is very economical. Add to that, Jane Scrivner and her team are some of the kindest, friendliest and generous folk I have had the pleasure of meeting in beauty land, well, it makes life a happy place.
For great skincare that is backed up with fabulous ingredients and a vast amount of knowledge, Jane Scrivner is top of my skincare list.
