DIEGO DALLA PALMA ECLIPSE FOUNDATION

Diego Dalla Palma has developed my love of stick Foundations even further, they have become my essential base, I've discovered a love of the creamy, dewy and easy to apply foundation that cuts the time I spend blending various 'runny' foundations over my face. For me, high-end are always far better quality, they have a soft application and don't feel waxy or chalky, they are a brilliant option if you travel a lot and cut down on carrying the weighty bottles of fluid foundations.

Diego Dalla Palma has created a dewy, buildable to medium coverage foundation with an SPF of 20. Soft and very creamy to apply, this blends beautifully using a sponge, fingers or you can buy the separate foundation application brush, created to give a flawless finish.
I am applying shade 232 in the picture above, a great yellow toned match for my skin, I was also fortunate to receive the shade 233, which although yellow has a pink warmth through it, so, I was able to really test out the shading with my skin.
From the first swipe, I do love the ease of the application, it doesn't drag on the skin at all, it glides leaving a creamy stripe of colour, the consistency offers a flattering coverage which can be built up without any drying feeling to a medium finish. I adored that this Eclipse foundation didn't look caked or dry and the subtle glow really added to the appeal of this quick, effective and easy to apply product.
A damp sponge is my preferred method of application, it really blends out the colour and leaves a soft and natural finish which has great longevity. The photographs below show both shade 232 & 233, I used the lighter tone in the centre of my face and the warmer 233, on the outer edges, blended they leave a lovely soft glow, I didn't use powder as I love the finish this foundation gives me.

The Eclipse foundation from Diego Dalla Palma works well on my oily/combination skin, it has a softness and would work on normal skin also. For dry skin, this is worth adding a drop of serum to the face to aid the application, but, it really has a lovely texture that it's an ideal option to eclipse all your other foundations.
