TOO FACED MELTED LIPSTICKS

Too Faced has been on my radar for years, I remember when it first hit the UK and was stocked in Boots, little stands with eye palettes hidden beneath cardboard packaging and its most famous product, the sun bunny bronzer. I've bought from the brand for years, the products are superb quality, they have stunning shade choices and they brought out palettes that were chocolate scented, there isn't much more to say really after that. But actually, there is, Too Faced never fail with their launches, they hit a season before it starts and offers beautiful shades to suit all, superb textures and gorgeous packaging and they've done it again. Get ready to have your heart melted with the Melted Matte-Tallic Liquified Metallic Matte Lipsticks.

The range has 13 shades, I have three to share with you, a neutral pink, a red, of course, and a vampish Burgandy, all smell of cake, all have a doe foot applicator which has a very precise point at the end, one of the best, which makes application superbly easy. The texture is soft, it doesn't feel powdery or dry on the lips and the metallic element glistens through without being over-powering.

Breakup Makeup is a flattering soft, pink, with a hint of metallic sheen, this gives a delicate kiss of colour to the lips with one application. A great choice for a gentler look to makeup and a great long lasting finish, coffee and cake do not fade this beauty.

I Wanna Rock With You is the most perfect warm blackberry colour, two coats and you have the perfect Autumnal lip shade, the metallic shades have a varying dimensional finish so the colours never look flat, they really pop with their amazing colour finishes. I completely loved this warm shade, as the photo indicates, with Matte-Tallic, you have to shout about the pout.

Last, but, of course not least, Bitch, I'm Too Faced - this russet red shade is the perfect red with the metallic finish it lifts what could be an ordinary lip shade to another level, it varies in different lighting, so you have the lightness of a hint of pink with the depth of deep red/brown tone. A huge favourite and nice to wear a lip that stays put without feeling dry.

Since receiving these Too Faced Melted Matte-Tallic Liquified Metallic Matte Lipsticks I have reached for little else, the ease of application I think has been one of the best things about these lipsticks, the applicator makes it so easy to work the colour over the lips efficiently, the finish is reliably long-lasting - you don't need to keep checking in the mirror, it's as fresh as the moment you first applied it. Aside from loving the three shades I have, I find the formulation soft, smooth and it doesn't feel or look dry at all on the lips, the multi-dimensional aspect of the colours really gives a lift to the shades and beautiful full stop to the final look you want to achieve.

If you love lipstick and you love cake, well, this is the range for you!
