Votary clearly says 'clean your skin', well, since they said it, how could I refuse?
Votary's simplistic packaging is eye-catching, the gloriously rich green bottle is suited to the natural cleansing oil contained within. Talking of what is contained within, Chia and Parsley seed are announced on the front of the packaging, but this bottled beauty contains 21 super seed oils, Chia has always been a love of mine and I adore it as a facial oil, so, this was certainly high on my list of why I 'needed' to try this cleansing oil.
Votary itself has built quite a reputation since hitting the skincare market, the brainchild of makeup artist Arabella Preston, who preps her clients' skin with the products before beginning her work.
A full review will follow in a few weeks, I was so excited about this, I just had to share the Votary love. As facial oils have played a huge part in my skincare journey over the years, equally cleansing oils have been a welcome part of my evening cleanse, breathing in the warming scents and feeling the oils pool across my face, it is the ultimate experience.
After a couple of evenings of using this earthy, herby, rich oil, I am already loving the pampering aspect, the slowing down of the routine, as oils always make me calm and relaxed, I love to spend several minutes just massaging the product and really absorbing it in its entirety as a product, texture, scent and ingredients ladened oil.
For now, Votary gets my vote, more to come ......
