NUDESTIX - They Have You Pencilled In

Nudestix proves there is a fine line between stationary, art and makeup - tins, pencils and colour, everything a frustrated artist, that's me, loves about makeup. Although my first encounter with the brand and their products was a limited time offer with Harvey Nichols, Nudestix multi-purpose makeup is available in various guises for you to buy anytime, eyes, brows, cheeks and lips, they have you pencilled in. 

I love using makeup pencils, they give you ease of application, great colour choices and if you're heading off anywhere you can pack so much and have every eventuality covered without bulky makeup items. Nudestix have great eye colour options, luminous or matte, they have thought of everything and they even have a pencil sharpener to keep your makeup on point. 

I had a beautiful choice of eye and cheek/lip colours, the first two photo's show me using the Magnetic matte eye colour in Terra, this adds subtle long lasting warm taupe shade to the lids, all the eye pencils work well above and below the lash line, they apply softly, with a smooth transfer of colour. 

Next, on the outer third of the eyelid and towards the brow, I applied magnetic luminous eye colour in a shade I knew I'd love instantly, Immortal, a glorious rich dark bronze, that gives a sheen and warm intensity to the eye. 

Nudestix can be blended out using fingers or brushes, they are so adaptable and smooth, it's easy to place them and create a soft to smokey eye in seconds, literally. 

Nudestix have the eyes for you and they also pay lip service with superb colour choices in the Matte Intense Lip + Cheek, I had Pixi, Kiss and Retro. I applied Retro to my cheeks, and blended it using my fingers, the consistency is very soft and easily softened into place, leaving a subtle glow and pop of colour to the skin, all colours are buildable. 

Time to talk lips, these matte colours are not drying at all, great pigment and give a flurry of gorgeous colour. I love Kiss, such a lifting colour and very summery, I love them all to be honest and the application onto cheeks and lips is so easy, it's great to have them in my handbag, I can take my makeup from subtle daytime to evening so quickly, smoothly and no need for brushes.

The beauty of Nudestix is the adaptability of all the range, they can be used on the brows, the lip colour I've used for shadow and vice versa, the colours are easy to work with and most importantly they are flattering in colour and consistency.
